What we collect
No account, and none of your training data. RepThemes doesn't create accounts or ask you to sign in, and it never sends your workouts, body measurements, or personal records to any server — all of that is stored locally on your device. The only information that leaves your device is purchase data, used solely to process and restore purchases, as described under Purchases below.
Health Connect
RepThemes optionally integrates with Android Health Connect. This integration is off by default and is active only if you turn on "Sync to Health Connect" in Settings and grant the requested permissions.
When enabled, RepThemes only writes to Health Connect. It saves:
- your completed workout sessions (exercise type and start/end time);
- distance for cardio activities;
- an estimated active-calories value for each workout; and
- when you save a body check-in, the body weight and body-fat percentage you entered.
RepThemes does not read any data from Health Connect. Calorie estimates are calculated in the app from information you enter in RepThemes itself (your workouts, body check-ins, and profile).
What "write-only" means, in plain terms
Health Connect is a shared, on-device hub where your health and fitness apps can each keep their data in one place. "Writing" means RepThemes adds your finished workouts and body check-ins to that hub — it's a one-way street out of RepThemes.
- Data flows out, never in. Your workouts can appear in other Health Connect apps you use (for example, a step counter, Google Fit, or a smartwatch companion app), so your activity totals and history line up everywhere.
- Nothing comes back into RepThemes. RepThemes never looks at, imports, or copies anything else stored in Health Connect — not your steps, heart rate, sleep, weight from a smart scale, or data from any other app.
- You decide who else sees it. Once a workout is in Health Connect, another app can only read it if you've separately given that app permission in Health Connect.
- It never leaves your phone because of us. Health Connect stores everything locally on your device; RepThemes doesn't send it to any server.
How we handle this data
- All health data stays on your device. RepThemes has no user accounts and no servers; we do not transmit, upload, or sell your health data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- Data written to Health Connect is stored by Health Connect on your device. Other apps can access it only if you grant them permission in Health Connect. That sharing is controlled entirely by you through Health Connect, not by RepThemes.
- We write only the data types listed above, solely so your training appears in the other health and fitness apps you choose to use.
- Calorie figures are estimates, not measured values, and should not be used for medical purposes.
Your controls
- Turn the integration off at any time in RepThemes → Settings → Health Connect.
- Review or revoke RepThemes' Health Connect permissions at any time in the Health Connect app (or Android Settings → Security & privacy → Health Connect).
- Revoking access or turning the feature off stops all further writing. Records already written to Health Connect remain there until you delete them in Health Connect.
Our access to and use of Android Health Connect complies with the Health Connect Permissions policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use it only to provide user-facing features, do not transfer data except as directed by you, and do not use it for advertising or sell it.
Backups
You can export a backup file of your data and save or share it yourself (for example, to your device's Downloads folder or your own cloud storage). RepThemes does not upload backups on your behalf, and it opts out of Android's automatic cloud backup, so your app data is not copied to your Google account backup.
Purchases
Optional theme packs and any subscription are bought through Google Play's billing system, so your actual payment details (card number and the like) are handled by Google Play and are never seen or stored by RepThemes.
To manage purchases and restore what you've bought across reinstalls or new devices, RepThemes uses RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives purchase data — such as which product you bought, transaction identifiers, an anonymous app-generated user ID, and technical details like your device type and approximate country — in order to validate and restore your entitlements. It does not receive your name or payment card details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for how they handle this information.
Data retention
- Workouts, body check-ins, records, templates and settings are kept on your device for as long as you keep them. They are removed when you delete them in the app, clear RepThemes' storage, or uninstall the app. We hold no copy.
- Health Connect records that RepThemes wrote (workouts, distance, estimated calories, weight and body fat) are kept by Health Connect on your device until you delete them in the Health Connect app. Uninstalling RepThemes or turning off the integration stops new writes but doesn't erase records already saved there.
- Backup files and trainer reports you export are kept wherever you choose to save or send them. RepThemes doesn't track or delete those copies.
- Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide and restore your purchases and to meet legal and tax obligations, or until you ask us to delete them (see Deleting your data). Google Play keeps its own purchase records under Google's privacy policy.
Security
- No servers, no accounts. RepThemes has no backend that stores your workout or health data, so there is no central database of user data to breach.
- Sandboxed on-device storage. Your data is stored in RepThemes' private app storage, which Android isolates from other apps. On modern Android devices this storage is also protected by the device's built-in encryption, tied to your screen lock.
- Android cloud backup is disabled for RepThemes, so app data isn't copied to your Google account.
- Health Connect access is limited to the write-only permissions listed above, and Health Connect enforces your permission choices for every app.
- Encrypted connections. The only network traffic RepThemes sends is purchase validation with Google Play and RevenueCat, over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
- Files you export are not encrypted by RepThemes. Treat backup files and trainer reports like any personal document, and store or share them only where you trust.
Deleting your data
Workout data on your phone. Your workouts, body measurements, personal records, templates, and settings exist only on your device. You can delete them at any time by clearing RepThemes' storage (Android Settings → Apps → RepThemes → Storage → Clear storage) or by uninstalling the app. Export a backup first if you want to keep a copy.
Purchase records. The only data held off your device is the purchase record kept by RevenueCat on our behalf. To have it deleted, email support@repthemes.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and include:
- Your RevenueCat Customer ID. In the app, go to Settings → About → Customer ID and tap it to copy. It looks like
$RCAnonymousID:…. The Customer ID appears there while you have an active RepThemes Pro subscription. - If you don't see a Customer ID (for example, you only bought a theme pack or Supporter), include the Google Play order number from your purchase receipt email instead. It starts with
GPA.

What happens next
- We delete your customer record and purchase history from RevenueCat within 30 days and reply to confirm. We use your email only to process and confirm the request.
- Deleting data doesn't cancel a subscription or issue a refund. Cancel RepThemes Pro in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) before you send the request.
- Google Play keeps its own record of your purchases under Google's privacy policy. If you later reinstall RepThemes and restore purchases, Google Play's record will be linked to a new anonymous ID so your themes can be restored.
Third parties
RepThemes does not include advertising or third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. The only third-party service it uses is RevenueCat, for purchase and subscription management, as described under Purchases above.
Children's privacy
RepThemes is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only data it processes is the purchase information described above, which is handled by Google Play and RevenueCat.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
